Pierre, a CanAm Sport Horse, is 3/4 Paint and 1/4 Thorurghbred. Pierre is 3 years old. He just as happy to be in the company of people as with other horses. Pierre has lots of personality!

Freckles, a CanAm Sport Horse, arrived at Godspeed Horse Hostel in November 2005. He is a 3 year old Draft Cross. Freckles has an easy going, laid back personality.

Troy, a CanAm Sport Horse, is a 4 year old 3/4 Draft. He is currently 15.3 hands. Troy is very athletic and bold. Excellent professional event horse prospect.

Kip, a CanAm Sport Horse, is a 3 years old 3/4 Quarter Horse and 1/4 Draft Cross. He is big and quiet.

Lana arrived in November 2005 along with Freckles, and Pierre. She is a 3 old purebreed Quarterhorse and can be registered. Lana is quiet, calm, and gentle.

ADOPTED
Lucky Quarter arrived at Godspeed Horse Hostel, Inc. as a yearling gelding in November of 2007. He has proven himself to be quite the lovable little guy. He has undergone some preliminary training with more planned.

Galaxy, a 2 year old filly, came to Godspeed in November 2007 with the Paint gelding. This Quarterhorse/Appalossa is quite a beauty. She is friendly, and loving. Once all of her training needs are assessed an adoptable date will be determined.

We believe everyone interacting with horses should understand the following:
- My life is likely to last 20-30 years. Any separation form you is likely to be painful.
- Give me time to understand what you want from me.
- Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.
- Don’t be angry with me for long and ignore me. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment, but I have only you.
- Talk to me. Even if I don’t understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.
- Beware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.
- Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet I choose not to.
- Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I’m not getting the right food, I have been unsheltered for too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak.
- Please take care of me when I grow old. You too will grow old.
- On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can’t bear to watch. Don’t make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I lover you so, always!

To ensure that we are adopting out happy horses that will fit your needs each horse receives training before leaving Godspeed Horse Hostel, Inc. Five of the horses at Godspeed Horse Hostel, Inc. have completed this training and are ready for adoption. Based on the time and training involved an adoption fee of $5,500 will be charged per horse.
Under special circumstances where the adoptee will provide an approved trainer to meet the needs of the horse and the guidelines of Godspeed Horse Hostel, Inc.'s training program and early adoption can be arranged.
