Hello everyone. Just wanted to tell you all that I am nearly a certified Hoof Care Specialist. I have been trimming feet since I was a kid and have been following the barefoot hoof movement for the last 15 years with case studies in rehabilitation here at the farm since 1996. By Christmas I will have 2 certifications and by May 2012, I will have my rehabilitation certification. Its not just trimming, its a whole program of nutrition, pasturing and hoofcare. I am going to offer my services first to other rescues and schools that do thereapy work with kids. Very bad rebab cases are welcome at the farm anytime and I can consult with horse owners who want to learn to trim their own horses or need rehab at their places. All in all, very excited.
